Cover-Up Tattoos in Vancouver
An old tattoo does not have to be the end of the story. I have experience with custom cover-up tattoos and can help you find a new design that works with your existing tattoo and the ideas you have in mind.
Start with an assessment
Every cover-up is different. The existing tattoo’s size, placement, colours, and saturation affect the options. Send clear photographs of the whole tattoo, including the surrounding skin, and describe what you would like instead. I’ll review your tattoo and ideas before recommending a direction.
Designing around the existing tattoo
A cover-up needs to work with what is already there. Composition, contrast, colour, and strategic detail help build a new image. The replacement may need more space than the original tattoo, so flexibility with size and subject gives the design more possibilities.
What results are possible?
Not every tattoo can be covered with every design. Very dark or dense work can limit the options, and some projects may need fading before a suitable cover-up is possible. I’ll explain what’s possible after seeing your tattoo and discussing your ideas.
Booking and pricing
Choose the booking form and explain that your request is for a cover-up. Include photos, placement, approximate dimensions, preferred subjects, and your budget. My hourly rate is $200 CAD; the estimate and number of sessions depend on the assessment and agreed design. Appointments take place in Vancouver.
