Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about booking and aftercare.

How do I book an appointment?

Fill out the booking form with details about your idea, placement, and size. I'll review your request and get back to you within 1-3 business days with availability.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is required once your tattoo idea is finalized and before the final design work begins. The deposit amount is based on the estimated time and scope of your tattoo. It will be applied to the last hour of a single-session tattoo, or to the final session of a multi-session tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred if rescheduling is required, with at least 48 hours’ notice.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Pricing depends on size, complexity, and placement. My hourly rate is $200, and I’ll provide a quote after reviewing your request and discussing the design with you.

Do you do walk-ins?

I work by appointment only to ensure each client receives dedicated time and attention. Please book through the booking form.

What should I do before my appointment?

Get a good night's sleep, eat a full meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your session. Wear comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the tattoo area.

How do I care for my new tattoo?

Keep the bandage on for 2–4 hours. Wash gently with unscented soap, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of unscented lotion 2–3 times daily. Avoid soaking, direct sunlight, and picking at scabs. Full healing takes 2–4 weeks. For more detailed guidance, see the full aftercare instructions below.

Can I bring reference images?

Absolutely! Reference images help me understand your vision. Please share them when you fill out the booking form or bring them to your consultation.

Do you do touch-ups?

Yes, I offer one complimentary touch-up within 6 months of your original appointment if needed. Contact me to schedule.

Aftercare Instructions

First 2-4 Hours:

Keep the bandage on for 2-4 hours after your session

First 2–3 Days:

Change the bandage 2–3 times a day

Each time:

  1. Remove the old bandage
  2. Wash gently with unscented antibacterial soap
  3. Pat dry with a clean paper towel
  4. Apply a thin layer of unscented, water-based lotion (Lubriderm, Aveeno, or similar)
  5. Cover with a new bandage and secure it

Do this in the morning, during the day (if possible), and before bed

Monitoring:

If you notice plasma, blood, or ink on the bandage, continue this routine until the bandage remains clean.

Daily Care (After Bandage Remains Clean):

Once the bandage remains clean, you can stop using it. Continue washing gently and applying lotion 2–3 times a day for the next two weeks. Do not over-moisturize — less is more.

What to Avoid:

  • Alcohol consumption for 24 hours before and after your tattoo session
  • Gyms and excessive sweating for 1 week
  • Swimming, hot tubs, or soaking for 2 weeks
  • Direct sunlight and tanning beds
  • Picking, scratching, or peeling scabs
  • Tight or abrasive clothing over the tattoo

Healing Timeline:

Your tattoo will go through several stages: initial healing (3-5 days), peeling (5-14 days), and settling (2-4 weeks). Full color settling can take up to 6 months.
